What Causes Recurring Gallstones Inspite Of Removing Gall Bladder?

Yes back in 2001 I had my gallbladder removed because of gallstones. In 2007, and 2010 I got gallstones again. I just got them again and this time I had stents put in. There taken out now since they was only suppose to stay in for a month. My question is is there a successful surgery that can be done to prevent having to go through this every so many years.

Hi.

There is no sure shot 100% way to prevent them and so there can only be lifestyle changes, dietary restrictions and oral medications that can help if at all you follow them religiously.

Best wishes.
