What Causes Recurring Genital Bumps On Labia?

Occasionally I get genital bumps that are sometimes red and painful with pus closer to my menstrual cycle. Then it goes away. This time on the right labia there are several bumps. Skin colour, hard to touch but not painful, and no pus. Recently, having laser hair removal as recommended by a doctor due to a previous abscess that developed on the upper groin thigh region on the same side. should I be worried?
