General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the recurring headache and unusual taste in mouth indicates possible issue of gut infection with bacteria most likely as enteric fever or else. It is best recommended to consult your primary care as this may require some basic lab tests ahead for the diagnostic clues. Till that time, gargles with salted lukewarm water added peppermint oil is an excellent tool for unusual taste in mouth.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
