What Causes Recurring Headaches At Night?

I wake up in the middle of the night with a head ache. usually get up, drink some water, and go back to bed... if i m lucky i fall asleep and am fine in the morning; sometimes I get up again and take some tylenol. the headaches happen 10 - 15 times/month.

Hi welcome to the health care magic...

Here you are having incidental headache without any obvious other complaints ...

Temporary viral infection, stress, hypertension, irregular sleep and irregular meal etc might be the cause

Avoid smoking if habit...

Measure your blood pressure...

If you are suffering from cold than levocetrizine like decongestant drug can be given....

Avoid stress if suffering from eat and eat regularly...

If your blood pressure high than exercise needed and if needed antihypertensive medication might prescribed

If still no improvement than further work up with CBC, ESR and if needed MRI done

Take care
