What Causes Recurring Headaches Followed By Vomiting?
My eight year old son has begun to vomit when he gets headaches. This usually happens when he is overtired or stimulated. It began in September and seems to happen every 2 months. Lately every month. Do you think its from overstimulation, or migraine?
First of all, you should do an CT Brain to exclude a focal brain lesion. If the vomiting occurred after eating or drinking, you could ask a gastrointestinal specialist for help.
If the vomiting did not occur with meals and the CT scan were normal,It could be either a migraine or a psychological problem. So,it needs a pain killer such as Paracetamol 150 mg twice per day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
