What Causes Recurring Headaches, Hot Flushes And Night Sweats?
I m suffering with headaches every day,hot flushes and terrible night sweats,I m only 32 and am hoping this isn t the start of the menopause. I m on femodene and have been for years, with 2 breaks when we had our children(the youngest 6 months). Is it possible it no longer suits me? Thanks
I can understand your concern. Femodene is a hormonal medicine which is known to cause the side effects you are describing. It is true that you have used it for long time without any side effects but some medicines give side effects only after longer use.
Alternatively, you could be having premature menopause. Though the usual age for menopause is 45-55 years of age, some females get it as early as in their 30s.
I would advise you to take an appointment with the gynecologist. He/she can examine you and can prescribe you blood tests. Based on the test results, diagnosis and therapy can be decided. Sometimes, all it takes is to change the current medicine or dose of it.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
