What Causes Recurring Headaches On The Left Side?

I am a 19 yrs old girl. I have been suffering from headache on my left forehead along and above the brow for a few years now. It usually goes away with some sleep. Sometimes its too painful. I noticed that it occurs when I am out in sun or when I travel. But there are times when I does nothing. The pain is always on left side of my head, once in a month or two during evening or night. Whats its cause ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should do a visit to ophthalmologist and neurologist. A vision impairment can cause the headache. You may need glasses.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
