Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring headaches with flashes in vision . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like inflammation or other problems with the blood vessels , meningitis , intracranial pressure , tumor or injury. Migraine can also be one of the reason. I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI along with checking vitals and taking history . Doctor may prescribe vasograine , frusamide , betablockers along with anti deperessants . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist or may recommend surgery . In severe headache analgesics like aspirin can help. In more severe cases triptans like Sumatriptan or other drugs like flupirtine etc can help. Doctor may also refer you to ophthalmologist .For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain , try to avoid trigger factor which trigger the headache and do mind relaxing exercises like meditation and yoga .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
