What Causes Recurring Headaches, pain In Eyes And Dizziness?

Hi, I'm 29, male, I have headaches and migranes for about three years. They come and go. Shooting pain at base of the skull to top of the neck, pressure in the back of the head, tight neck muscles, pain in the eyes, dizziness, off balance, confusion, blury vision, tender skeleton. I rub my neck and self adjust my neck to try and get relief.???????

Hello and welcome.

If you have migraines being a male, it may not be associated with hormones and in most cases there is a causative factor or trigger to the migraines. Let me list them for you, so you can relate to a possible cause and prevent it:

+Exposure to extreme temperatures
+Long periods of starvation
+Poor sleep habits or difficulty sleeping
+High levels of stress
+Long durations of watching a screen (e.g. computer, smartphones, tablets, etc.)
+Certain types of food
+Certain types of drinks (e.g. containing inositol, caffeine, etc.)

Finding the triggering factor and avoiding it will greatly help. And when you have a headache try using drugs like propranolol, sumatriptan, etc.

Best wishes.
