What Causes Recurring Hemorrhages In The Brain And Headaches Despite Taking Preva?

The patient is taking Preva 75 since 2008. There was no hamerrahages before as shown in the MRI done in 2008. But recent Mri shows few Small Microhamerrahages. the patient is also have a headache.Should Preva75 be continued? Email : YYYY@YYYY

I can understand your concern.
Preva is having clopidogrel.
It is antiplatelet drug. It is blood thinner and cause bleeding.
So this patient should immediately stop preva 75 as he is having Micro heamorrhage in the brain.
Better to consult neurologist and start treatment. Stop preva immediately.
