What Causes Recurring High Fever And Headache?

I have had a fever for about three days now. The highest temp was 102.3 on Friday night. When the ibuprofen starts to where off it has been around 100.5. My normal temp is around 97.4. I also have a headache that comes and goes with the medication. At what point do I need to consider seeing a doctor?
