Hi dear ,

As per your query you have couple of episodes of hives . Well hives is body's response external stimuli or allergen . It is very important in case of hives to find out the trigger factors . There are some common trigger factors like

Some food like peanuts and sea food .

Medications, such as antibiotics .

Insect stings or bites .

Cold, heat or sun exposure .

Bacterial and viral infection .

Pet dander .

Consult your allergy specialist for proper diagnosis . Your allergist may want to conduct skin tests, blood tests , skin-prick test and urine tests to identify the cause of your hives and rule causes like angioedema which sometimes can be mistaken for or associated with hives. . For now apply cold compresses to affected area and take benadryl . Your doctor may prescribe steroid therapy .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
