What Causes Recurring Infection In Throat?

Hi,
My name is Vivek Thomas and I am having throat infection since past 4 months. My sinuses are normal but my ENT said that I have DNS and thatz the reason I am getting recurrent throat infections. MY IGE level is 206 which is above normal range of 100. Please help me and advice whether I should go for septoplasty or should try something different.

Thank you

raised IGE levels along with sneezing could be allergic rhinitis.
if u have sneezing, it will not be corrected with septoplasty.
but septoplasty helps the medicine (steroid) spray to reach the nasal mucosa maximum.
this will reduce ur allergy and controls ige levels.
correcting ur septum will provide relief from recurrent infections .
surgery is purely based on severity of ur symptoms and recurrence of infections
