What Causes Recurring Locking Up Of Knee Post Treatment For Knee Sprain?
My daughter sprained her knee back in April and things eventually became better. The X-rays showed no fractures or anything broken. Since this morning her knee has locked at least 4 times and she hasn t moved off the couch since the 1st time this morning. We ve iced it, elevated it, and given her pain medicine. What is causing it to lock-up if she s not moving it? Also what else can I do? Thank-you
It can be due to that injury or inflammation. MRI or USG can be used to see it more intensely or to see its cause. A few kinds of restrictions in movement can prevent it. Orthopedist and a standard physiotherapist can tell those. Optimising energy and the programs of 'Art of Living' can prevent pain, if medications are not relieving it, via some unknown mechanism.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
