What Causes Recurring Loss Of Vision, Pale Skin And Lightheadedness?
For the longest time now, every day almost every time I stand up no matter how quickly or not, I experience my vision going black sometimes for a full minute. My husband says I also turn pale. I get extrememly lightheaded and have an od sensation I cant explain and I cannot see anything. After my vision comes back I feel clammy and have a cloudy vision for a time afterwards.
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. These are signs of postural hypotension. There are many causes for it. 1. Cardiac problem 2. thyroid disease 3. diabetic neuropathy 4. low Hb I would like to advise you to investigate yourself. Do ECG, ECHO, Full blood count, TFTs, RBS. if these were normal then don't worry. All that you to do is to enhance your stamina. Do regular aerobic excersize, anaerobic excesize like weight lifting and drink plenty of water. Hope it helps best. Don't forget to rate this answer and close the discussion at Healthcare Magic. Take your best care. Regards Dr Ejaz
