What Causes Recurring Low Grade Fever And Running Nose In An Infant?

We are caring for our Grandtwin-daughters while their parents are out of town. Ella has not been herself for over a week now, just more clingy, running low grade fever on and off and noticing she grabs herself and just seems like something is wrong. How is a 20month old checked for a UTI?

Hello,

The 20 month old child cannot explain their symptom like burning micturition. So if no visible sign of upper respiratory tract infection than urinary tract infection also need to be ruled out by urine analysis report.

The CBC, SGPT also advisable to do for further work up.
