What Causes Recurring Muscle Spasms In Arms Radiating To Hips?

I have been having what I describe as muscle spasms in my arms working down into my hips. The concern I have is I can t tell exactly where I feel it. I think it on the right side for instance and after I stop and think its coming from the left. Is this common

Hello,

It is not much common. I think it can be caused by electrolyte abnormalities. I can suggest you take magnesium and vitamin B 6 in order to help muscle relaxation. If it still continues it can be an issue with your spine. You may need to do an X-ray of the spine.
