Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Recurring Muscle Spasms In Arms Radiating To Hips?
I have been having what I describe as muscle spasms in my arms working down into my hips. The concern I have is I can t tell exactly where I feel it. I think it on the right side for instance and after I stop and think its coming from the left. Is this common
It is not much common. I think it can be caused by electrolyte abnormalities. I can suggest you take magnesium and vitamin B 6 in order to help muscle relaxation. If it still continues it can be an issue with your spine. You may need to do an X-ray of the spine.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
