What Causes Recurring, Odd, Chronic Seizures?

One of my family members just over the past week began having odd clonic seizures. It was not too surprising due to her daughter having epilepsy. When she seizes, her post ical state is so severe that she cant move for hours.. and could only blink. Her last seizure left her post ical for a day, and extremely aphasic. It had been a day, and it still takes her and her speech therapist 30 seconds to say 'hi.'

They did notice that her uvula is slightly deviated to the right. All of the regular tests have come back negative. She had a total of 7 seizures.

She has not seized now for almost two days, has a picc line, but is still aphasic. They called in a speech specialist. The top dog supervisor got an exitingly confused look on her face and walked out.

Any thoughts? I cannot find anything in medical journals or the PDR that matches this description.

They called psych and ruled out being crazy.. and she just isn't that type of person. She has a lot of good things going for her.
