What Causes Recurring Pain In Chest?

For the past two weeks I have been having an aching chest pain that is more of annoyance than anything. Changing position does not affect the pain and it comes on randomly and will last only a couple minutes. Physical activity does not affect or bring on the pain either. I have no other signs of illness. I am 26 male and daily active.

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you are having mostly anxiety related chest pain only.
Since tour age is young (26) less possibility of cardiac cause. But better to rule out cardiac disease by ECG. If ECG is normal than no need to worry much for cardiac disease.
You are mostly having anxiety.
So avoid stress and tension. Be relax and calm.
Consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and work on its solution. You may require anxiolytic drug too. So don't worry much, you will be alright.
