Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m 38 yrs old male, do not smoke, recently appox 4 weeks now I have started jogging twice a week average 2 miles per day, in past two weeks a get chest pain on my left side, feels more like a mascular pain, but I m concerned could this be anything serious
After going through the details provided by you it doesn't seems like a cardiac pain. Some people do feel slight pain in their pectoral muscles after starting running which gets resolved over a period of time. However i want to recommend to you to do an ECG to make sure everything is fine. Also i want you to take a mild pain killer like PARACETAMOL 500 mg For 3 days to see if it get resolved with it.
Good Luck
