What Causes Recurring Pain In Left Testicle?

My husband has noticed a slight pain on his left testicle on and off for about 6 months and just this morning after sitting for a few hours at work got up and saw a couple of drops of blood on his underwear in the front. He is 35 and healthy and didn't have any pain today to speak of.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The blood on underwear must be from the urethra only.

This is what we as Doctors always want to tell you that the earlier the diagnosis, better are the results.

In case of your husband the pain in the testicles would have been secondary to a problem of the prostate.

I would advise to go for ultrasound and color doppler of the abdomen- urogenital system in particular and the scrotum.
The findings have to be confirmed by MRI, blood tests and urine tests.

He may need a biopsy/ FNAC of the prostate.
and further treatment to be planned as per the findings on investigations
I find this answer helpful
