What Causes Recurring Pain In Lower Left Side Of Tailbone?

I have been having pain in the lower left side of my tail bone for a while now. My doctor put me on muscle relaxers and anti-inflamitories for it. Now though I have been having pain in my lower abdomen and the pain in my tail bone has gotten worse and has spread. I am wondering what could be causing it, and if I need to see my doctor about it.

Hi

It looks you have developed some kind of pathology back there. Do you have a job that requires a lot of sitting?

Anyways you need to have a x ray done for the area and ask a report for it from Radiologist. We usually for such conditions suggest our patients to Try using diclofenac 50mg+Paracetamol 325mg+chlorzoxazone 500mg BD x 3 days, Tab Pantoprazole 40mg+ domperidone 10mg BD x 3 days, apply Thrombophob cream four times a day on the area, if it doesnt resolve you will need an MRI and X Ray

Your abdominal complaint may be because of use of anti inflammatory if not coupled with some PPI

Thanks
