General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there,

I am sorry for the painful situation you are going through.

If you are having recurring pain in neck, it might be related to:
- spondyloarthritis (arthritis of spine at neck level), which is compressing the roots of nerves passing by
- muscular strain
- problems with blood circulation locally

I advise to do an X-ray of neck area to see if any change locally. Meanwhile, I advise to:
- wear warm compresses at the neck
- keep your neck always covered
- apply analgesic cream locally
- take oral analgesic (acetaminophen, ibuprofen, etc.)
- take multivitamins of B group

Hope it was of help! Wish fast recovery!
