What Causes Recurring Painful Lump With Reddish Bruise Around?

Hello, I have a large (dime size) lump on my side on top of a stretch mark. It s painful to the touch and has a half dollar sized red ring around it. I ve had one before and it eventually went away but left a dark purple/ black scar. This one is much larger and more painful than the last. Any idea on what it may be?

Hi there.

This could be fungal ringworm infection. Avoid sweat accumulation. Keep the area dry. Avoid sunlight exposure. Apply warm packs. Get it shown to a Dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
