What Causes Recurring Pelvic Pain With Testicular Swelling?

Currently have a occasional throbbing pain within my pelvic region. It feels as if it is linked to one of my testicles. I have had a twisted testicle before which has been operated on so I don t believe it is a torsion as there is no severe pain. There is some swelling and the testicle is slightly higher than the other. I also feel sick but I think this is down to me panicking.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
After going through your description, the following conditions needs to be ruled out:
1. Varicocele
2. Epididymo-orchitis
3. Testicular tumour
For the complaints of recurring pelvic pain and testicular swelling, you need to get a scrotal scan done to know what would be the cause for this.
Kindly get the scan done and seek help form Surgeon for proper diagnosis and management.
In the meantime, you can take analgesic containing combination of Ibuprofen + Paracetamol for pain. Also give proper scrotal support.
Hope the information provided would be useful.
