What Causes Recurring Red Spot On Penis?

Hi. I am 24 year old male. I have a red shinny spot on penis, it is not painful. I have been using Topical Kortikosteroid and it disappears in 3 days of applying. but it reappears after 2 weeks. what shall I do? should I continue using the cream or is there any other way to get rid of this once and for all.

hello
thank you for asking the question.
red spot on penis may be due to exposure to allergen. common allergen is soap. due to continuous exposure to soap, there is dermatitis which produce red spot on penis.
treatment with topical corticosteriod definitely help to relieve the symptoms.
for prevention of recurrence avoid using soap which produce it. if you are not allergic to soap then consult a doctor to find out the cause for it.
