What Causes Recurring Red Spots On The Elbow In Elderly?

I am 65. For the past year or so I ve been getting red spots on my forearms. They disappear within two weeks and another surfaces. My doctor said it s broken blood vessels that sometimes occur in older people because skin becomes thinner with age. I had one that disappeared and then two more showed up! Should I be worried?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is right judgment given by the doctor such red spot could be due to subcutaneous microvascular rupture mostly happens in old age, some time it could be due to some drugs too, (Bronchodilator) hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
