What Causes Recurring Red Spots On The Palms?

I have been getting red spots on just the palm of both hands and only seems to come around when I m in the Florida heat for too long...maybe...I know being outside makes them worse...but they seem to mainly come around when I m stressed out...I can t help but worry about things... My wife has grand ma seizures....and she had them a lot for the first 10 years we been together.. They have been under control for a few years now... My brother past away on fathers day in 2014. I have been stressing like hell since. And also been living and dealing with the herpie simplex virus since I was a kid...Dr s have told me before that it is oral ulcers. But the red painful spots on my hands seem to only come out when I m stressed or if I m not stressed out then they appear when I have a batch of blisters in my mouth... And I don t just get 1 or 2, I get them by the mouthful on my tongue inside my cheeks everywhere. I m at a loss of what to do....thank you for your time... God bless. Forget this 15bucks for a question....yeah right...I ll make an appointment with a Dr for free....

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The red spots seem to be due to acute contact dermatitis. You can treat it by application of over the counter Cortaid and Neosporin cream twice a day for 10 days.

In case it does not heal with the above creams you will need to take a tablet Claritine which is again over the counter daily at night along with the cream applications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
