What Causes Recurring, Sharp Headaches?

I am experiencing severe sharp pains in my head that will come and go. They are extremely intense for a few seconds then go away. They may be several minutes to half an hour apart. I feel a bit sore or weak afterwards. Is this a type of migraine or should I be concerned? There is no facial drooping and my eyes do not appear or be dilated.

Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
It looks like migraines but if there is no improvement after painkillers and antidepressant it would be good to have brain CTscan to rule out some more serious disorders.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
