What Causes Recurring Shortness Of Breath And Dry Cough?

Hi, i recently started getting what I m assuming is a cold. I am very congested yet dry. I have a super dry cough but not a runny or stuffy nose. I feel like I m going to sneeze and cough always. Recently (the last 24 hours) i have been experiencing shortness of breath along with pain under my left collarbone. Should i be concerned? Thanks

Hello,

Congestion, dry cough, sneezing, shortness of breath - all these symptoms could be due to upper respiratory tract infection. You can take anti-histaminic like Cetirizine or Levoceritizine or loratadine for 5 days for all these symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
