What Causes Recurring Skin Tags On Torso Of The Child?

My granddaughter will be 3 on Feb. 26th. For the last year she has been developing skin tags on her torso. They look normal at first then they get a little white head on them. After that they turn reddish and large before drying up, they are also very painful at this stage. Her pediatrician says that it is a skin virus and wpould go away in approx. 6 mos. They are still growing any suggestions ?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, you have just mention the figure 3 and not said anything whether this are the months or years, in my opinion biopsy is the ideal test for such lesion now instead of treating it, hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
