What Causes Recurring Spasms Like Pain In Buttocks?

I have what I am calling butt spasms. These pains came a day after using the stair master. How can I relieve the pain and when can i go back to working out again. It s worst if I sit or lay down, but when I walk it actually feels better. thank you.

Hi
It is due to exercise and use of gluteus muscles. You need to give a gap of some days. Then resume your work out. But the next time you should slowly increase the time you spend on the stair master over 7-10 days.
For time being, you can use analgesics and local sprays get rid of pain.
Wishing you happy work out..
