Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello! I have had a reoccurring spot in my vision, like you see after a camera flash. It gets wider after a few minutes. A nurse asked me years ago if I was dehydrated. I have to drink a lot of water, and then it will diminish. This happened for the second time this week. Thanks!
I am unable to deduce your age thus in best interest it is wise to see an ophthalmologist for any disease of the vitreous [inflammation or infection], also it could be due to any associated health condition like high blood pressure, diabetes, or injured blood vessels, so as to avoid visual impairment.
PS. Recurring spots could be floaters in medical term.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood, Ayurveda Specialist
