Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i am 52 i have been menopausal since i was 42. About six months ago I started having spotty bleeding , went to the Dr. , they did a biospsy , they didn t get enough cells. She then sent me to obgyn. he did the same, he didn t get enough cells. Both Dr s also did a transvaginal ultrasound. They both came up with nothing but some fibroid tumors. After a DNC stopped bleeding and discharge. Then started back with an infection , then back to bleeding some again. Have went to third Dr. he couldn t get enough cells with pap smear, what seems the problem ?
HI Well come to HCM If this is menopausal syndrome so some symptoms are very likely, in my opinion no need to go for biopsy, but better to get done the MRI study to rule out some doubt, just be patience everything would be fine soon, the way that you are on this case such act some time create iatrogenic problem, this is not the disease, but just part of female life, hope this information helps, take care.
