What Causes Recurring Tightness In Chest With Lightheadedness?

hello I am a 55 year old female in good shape, I have been experiencing some strange chest /breathing issues lately. due to a bad family heart history I recently had a full work up from a cardiologist he said I am great everything looks fine. but I still have a strange feeling in my chest and when talking for a long time feel constricted and a little light headed. They said maybe ashma.

Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that your symptoms may be caused by a chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or asthma.

Anxiety could also mimic this clinical scenario.

As you refer all your cardiac tests have resulted normal, so a cardiac cause like cardiac arrhythmia has been excluded.

I recommend consulting with the pneumologist and perform a chest x ray and a spirometry to examine the airways function.
