What Causes Recurring Tingling Feeling In Shoulders?

Had neck pain and shoulder pain on my left side. When I turned my head to the left there was a pain that shot down my arm. Now the pain in my neck is gone but I still have a funny feeling in my shoulder sometimes and it comes and goes. It s been two weeks and I feel much better but in the fist week the pain was so uncomfortable I had trouble falling asleep. Now it s week three and I can finally sleep. I also spend at least four hours at my desk in front of a computer. How long before I m fully recovered?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring tingling feeling in shoulders . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cervical spondylosis , cervical radiculopathy , nerve compression , or symptoms of angina .

I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan or MRI . Doctor may prescribe nerve supplement muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory and physical therapy along with particular stretching exercises .

Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist in case of cardiac problem . For now eat healthy , and apply warm compresses to neck , shoulder and arm . Drink warm glass of milk with turmeric powder daily .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
