Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Query is for my grand daughter of 5 months old. She is having tendency of vomiting.Doctor suggested NEXPRO junior sachet for 7 days.I have given her & found Relief in vomiting, but when stopped the drug ,again started vomiting. Please suggest should I continue it again and if yes for how many days
You may need to review her milk and in bottle feed, milk may be switched. Usually AR or anti regurge milk variants which are available or soft formulas which doesn't induce vomiting in kids.
A pediatric review may be needed if vomiting persists to rule out dehydration. Meanwhile, the Nexpro may be continued for another week.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
