What Causes Recurring White Lumps On The Upper Lip?

hello I was wondering I have small white bumps on my upper lip thy don t hurt or cause any discomfort except it can be embarrassing at times they are more noticeable at time but then fade but never completely go away. I have had them for over a year and have been tested for stds about 4 months ago and everything came back negative.

As per your complain, small painless white bumps over the lips that never go away seems to be Fordyce's spots that are raised sebaceous glands..

They are normal anatomical structures and not any pathology and does not cause any medical problems..

Sebaceous glands are present in abundance over the lips and at times if they are slightly raised they can appear as tiny white bumps or dots..

Although they do not require any treatment as they are harmless but in case if it is hampering your appearance or looks then you can go for laser treatment for their removal..
