What Causes Recurring White Spots On Tonsils?

I had white spots on left tonsils. with no pain. I was able to scrape it of with finger nail, but caused bleeding and irritation. went to e.r. test negative for strep and mono. I recently have a new sex partner and he came in my mouth I spit as never swallow a strangers load. E.r suggested I get tested for chlamydia and gonn. I declined since test takes two days to come back. I was given z-pac single dose to drink, in case it was gonn or chlamydia. went away 2 days later symtpons are back, what could this be? I feel fine no pain or irritation, just agony and stress of worrying that its possible std

As per your query a white recurring spot over the tonsil can be a pus pocket and is caused commonly due to infection in throat and in case if you have got both mono and strep results negative you should definitely get tested for Chlaymadia as oral chlamydia infection can be transmitted via oro-genital contact and you too have a history of the same..
You should take a course of antibiotics for a week and do warm saline gargles..
In case if it does not improve then chlamydia can be suspected and tested for and in case if it turns to be positive antibiotics like Azithromycin and doxycycline can be advised by your treating physician..
