What Causes Red And Blotchy Skin On Neck Area?

Please help! I ve been in Thialand for a couple of weeks now and woke up a few days ago with my eyelids feeling dry and rough. I woke up this morning and I have a very obvious extra crease on my upper and bottom eyelid, as if I ve grown extra skin over night? In addition, my neck is slightly blotchy and red. It s awfully unattractive and makes my actual eyes/pupils feel very dry. Any advice on a solution would be great. Please note - it is not itchy at all.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the red and blotchy skin on neck over night with swollen eyelid indicate allergy issue to some sort of allergen. So far as non itchy nature is concerned, there can be related to non-histamine mediated response of allergy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
