What Causes Red And Foggy Urination?

Hey, my pee is often red/brown and very foggy before it becomes clear again as it normally should be. The red/brown stuff does not look like blood, it simply looks like red/brownish pee. It goes foggy when it hits the water. Not like, really clear/transparrent foggy. I mean it stays red/brown when it hits the water but it spreads out into a fog. Sort of like when you have a jug of water and put a splash of orange squash into it...? The squash begins to look cloudy and foggy before it spreads out amongst the water. That is what happens with the red/brown stuff. It doesn t hurt at all. And it really does not look like blood. It often happens to me every time i pee, in a large amount but not for long at all. It usually lasts for about, I d say 10% of the time it takes to completely pee. So just now I went to go pee and this red stuff came out in a large amount, in the same way usual pee does, it took about one second. Then it decolourised quickly as I kept on peeing, into the regular yellow and then I pee d for about 9 more seconds of the usual normal pee. What is happening and am I going to die?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The red, brown and orange colour urination you are complaining about is caused by blood in the urine.

It may be caused by infection or cancer. I suggest you do a urine analysis, ultrasound and possibly a cystoscopy. The results of tests will determine the diagnose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
