What Causes Red And Itchy Hands, Neck And Chest After Taking Vitamins?

I was fine today and then took some vitamins, that I always take but usually when I go to bed at night, and about 20 minutes later my hands and arms started to get red and start to itch. Then I noticed my chest, upper back and neck were red and I could feel heat radiating off my body. Could this be flushing from Vitamin B3?

1. It could be an allergic reaction to vitamins and one of the culprit is Vit. B1 which can cause sweating, palpitation, pain chest, breathlessness, itching and abdominal cramps.

2. If other danger signs of hypersensitivity like stridor, vomiting, low BP, are there check immediately with Emergency Room, otherwise avoid re exposure to the allergen (vitamin) and carry a card indicating the hypersensitivity.
