What Causes Red And Itchy Rash On Mons Pubis And Labia Majora?

I have a red, bumpy, itchy, and painful rash on my mons pubis and around my labia majora. It s been there for a few days now and it seems to be getting worse. Also, after I have a lot of sex, my discharge smells similar to a dead.animal and is kind of pinkish/brown in color. I don t know what this is but I m worried. Any ideas?

Thanks for your question. The most common cause of itchy rash on labia majora is due to yeast infection.

So you can try applying some over the counter antifungal cream on the affected area. Also clean the area with a soft wet cloth but don't rub the area harshly.

If it doesn't come down in a week, then consult a gynaecologist to rule out other possible conditions like lichen plants, eczema and other bacterial infections
