What Causes Red And Itchy Rash On Neck And Upper Chest?
I have a red, flushed skin looking rash on the right side of my neck and upper chest. I ve tried benadryl and a Gold bond ointment. The rash is only getting worse, and has moderate itching. It is possible i had an insect bite on the side of my neck. I woke up with a blister type spot that has continued to itch. Any advice
As per your query, you have symptoms of red and itchy rash on neck and upper chest which is mainly due to contact dermatitis leading to inflammation.
I would suggest you keep this area clean and dry and avoid itching and pricking rashes. You should apply a cream containing Azelaic Acid. Apply warm compresses with a soaked towel and apply vitamin-C serum at night. If the condition doesn't get better then consult a dermatologist for proper examination. The doctor will examine physically and may prescribe mild steroids accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
