What Causes Red And Raised Patches All Over The Body?

HI, I have a several red patches, some raised, some with a black dot int he middle, they are very (very!) itchy. It got worse over night. I was on Fire Island and I was weeding through heavy brush. Any idea what it is? Poison Sumac? Spider bites?

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems to be severe allergic reaction to either the weed that you were smoking/snorting while it can also be due to allergic reaction to any food item or due to multiple biting with any poisnous organism..
I would suggest you to take anti-allergics like Allegra or benadryl, apply steroid ointment like Cortisone ointment over the itchy rashes and do cool compresses over the rashes..
In case if there is no improvement consult an Allergist or Immunologist and get evaluated and he can do allergic testing to rule out the exact cause of allergic reaction and treat you accordingly..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
