What Causes Red And Raised Rash On Legs And Thighs?
Hello, my 13 year old has a rash (red like pin pricks and raised red bumps) that started this morning on both legs, it has moved up to his thighs. He is having a hard time walking and standing and says his legs are aching. He is just recovering from what we thought might have been the flu, (headache, vomiting, coughing, stiff neck). He says the pain in his legs is getting worse. Should we take him to the ER?

yes,you need to take him to ER as he is suffering from rash n pain in the legs seems to be rheumatic fever which can be conformed by doing some blood tests...this fever can be treated by taking one week course of antibiotic along with other symptomatic medication.
