What Causes Red And White Discoloration On Ankle?
I have red and White blotch discolouration on the outside of my ankle (one side only) which is v unsightly - have poor circulation in the lower legs for years even though I exercise a lot and am very light (skinny) . I take Cardicor medication for HOCM and wonder if the redness is just blood accumulation. The cosmetic appearance does worry me but should I have it seen by a doctor - the pharmacist commented on it today when I was getting dressings for cut on leg - many thanks for any advice you could give

It may be due to foot injury. For that you may require ankle x ray after orthopedic surgeon consultation. For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.
