What Causes Red Blotchy Rashes On Abdomen And Back In A 2 Year Old?

Boy 2 years old....was eating. Started crying, acted like he was going to vomit. Broke out in hives. Stomach, back and neck. Red and blotchy. Within 2 minutes, the redness started to disappear and he was fine. Stomac and back was covered. Can you give me an explanation?

I really appreciate your concern, this could be due to allergic condition and food allergy may be likely, this could be transient one, one need to find out the causative factor for this, if found then avoid this, take care.
