What Causes Red Bump On Breast?

I have a red bump on my left breast that looks like a pimple that I found yest., now when I checked today it has a red ring around it. I tried to squeeze it and a white liquid came out like a pimple would. I don't think it's a pimple though. It does not hurt or itch. I'm not sure what the problem is or what caused it. Can u help?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Welcome to healthcare magic.

I would keep a possibility of a bacteria infection of the hair follicle/folliculitis.

If I was your treating doctor I would have asked you to take an oral antibiotic (penicillin group e.g Amoxycillin ) for a week.

An OTC antibacterial e.g 2% mupirocin can be applied over the lesion twice daily for a few days.

regards
