What Causes Red Bump On Nose And What Is The Treatment?

I have this red bump on my nose near my nose bridge and I have no idea what it is and what caused it. I know it s not a pimple because when I touch it its not soft, it s pretty much hard when I touch it.I have tried my best not to touch it at all.Also it appeared on my nose a few days ago and there has been no changes at all.It look completely the same.I really need to know what is on my nose and what treatment do I need to get rid of it.

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have red bump on nose . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like rosacea , eczema,reaction to an allergen such as rubber or resin , irritating substances like soap and chemicals , poor blood circulation and some conditions like liver dysfunction . But in your case it seems to me that the bump probably occur due to dust or oily skin . I would suggest you to wash your face with cold water and soap containing benzoyl peroxide twice a day and apply azelaic acid cream after washing face . Aslo apply vitamin C serum before going to bed . If condition doesn't get wekk in a 2-3 days then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order skin test , allergy test and blood test . Doc tor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment , antibiotics ( clindamycin ) , retinoids and vitamin E tablets .
